…on all orders $50 and over.
Inspired by Amazon, you’re gonna get good deals from Fido ‘n Fluffy via the standard low prices, and free shipping- icing on the cake!
According to what Rick Broida tells us in CNET.com, ‘“With Prime, users get “two-day shipping on virtually anything …Amazon Prime is a “kind of an oddball assemblage of services,” but for the regular online shoppers, even “the shipping alone feels like a huge win.’”
Fido ‘n Fluffy has Free Shipping, too, but sans the ‘virtually anything’ part, because we confine our products exclusively to cats and dogs.
We can boast, though, of the ‘huge win’ part: customers don’t have hidden fees, i.e. we won’t pad the price of the product to make it look like Free Shipping when in effect you still pay shipping charges via the padded prices. (We don’t think Amazon does, either. Otherwise it is standard practice.)
Preposterous? Not. Fido ‘n Fluffy may be silly enough to pay for the shipping so that shoppers can have a pleasant experience browsing Fido ‘n Fluffy’s site. (What a turn-off when the shipping costs more than the product!)
Not to fear- this won’t make Amazon feel guilty or insecure, and if Fido ‘n Fluffy can make a dollar or two (they don’t eat much), they’ll still be on the plus side of the equation. We think that Stephen Covey will agree that Fido ‘n Fluffy’s ‘Free Shipping’ maneuver is a win/win situation. 😀

PETMATE® WINS COVETED 2014 EDISON AWARD
Yep, for the World’s Most Innovative Products and Services. Petmate won the Edison Award in Lifestyles for their Travel ‘See & Extend’ Carrier, and the Edison Green Award for their success in developing sustainable solutions and green business models.
Says Larry Baab, EVP Marketing & New Product Development, “Our Spectrum facility is one of many ways Petmate helps to preserve the environment through sustainable manufacturing.”
Well, they certainly walk the talk.
Petmate® purchases and consumes 40 to 80 million pounds of post-industrial/pre-consumer plastic waste per year to create viable injection-grade plastic for their products which are made of 95% recycled material that would otherwise go to landfills. All internal scrap is recycled for future use; the corporate office recycles, too. (Italics, mine.)
Again I quote Larry Baab, who had mentioned prior to the awards, “Petmate shares the Edison Awards’ commitment to innovation with a visionary, creative-yet-practical approach to pet products.” Makes me wonder if they might have a bona-fide think tank somewhere. 😀
Take a look at the video and see how the “See & Extend” pet carrier works. This, and Petmate’s many new products are coming soon. Meanwhile, check out Petmate’s other products at Fido ‘n Fluffy’s 🙂

Attention dog owners with pickups:
“Dogs are safer when riding in the cab and should never ride in a pickup’s bed.” This safety reminder had been propagated through the joint efforts of the Ford Motor Co. of Michigan, and the American Humane Assn. of Washington, D.C. when they held their Dogs Ride Inside public awareness campaign September.
According to them, “A harness that clips into a vehicle’s seatbelt system is considered a good product choice for owners on the go.” (Source: Pet Product News International, November 2013)
Good news … Fido’n Fluffy’s website has that kind of harness, Bergan’s Safety Harness plus other travel items that will make being on the road safe, comfortable, and fun for your pet and you!
