HUGZ Pugz Dog Shoes

HUGZ Pugz Shoes for Dogs ($17.99)

I, a non-writer, which affords me the excuse of being grammatically incorrect, am supposed to be blogging every day! Which usually is the case. But things happen. Like being lackadaisical.

Anyway, wouldn’t ya know, it took a movie to get me going again. The movie was entitled, “The Warrior and the Wolf, based on the novel “Rosai-Ki” by Yasushi Inoue. HUG-11003

One scene is heartbreaking. A young shepherd, who somehow became acting general by default, was leading a migration of villagers across the snowy, blizzardy mountains.

The general put his wolf pal on the back of the wagon with the supplies. Thinking his pal was all secured, he went back up to lead their exodus into somewhere else.

But somehow he must’ve fallen off the wagon and consequently was dragged along through the bitter snow, pulled by the leash which was tied to the wagon. (The canine dragged wasn’t a real one.)

When the general came back to check on him, he was lying on the ground. Taking and lifting his limp paw and limb, he realized his pal succumbed to the brutal cold. It was very painful for the general because they used to run and play a lot.

The scene made me think that if he were wearing Pugz shoes, he could have been saved. As the demand for wellness products for pets grows, Pugz Shoes for dogs, and wellness footwear, leg bands for dogs and dog socks are being streamlined and manufactured to meet the needs of working dogs, and special needs dogs. They are an upward and growing populace.

Uh-oh, Fido ‘n Fluffy are going to kill me. They said,

“Where are the special dog socks?” I said,

“Uh, they’re there for sure. How ‘bout I feature the special dog socks or maybe leg bands next week?”

“Tomorrow would be good. K? ThxBai!”

FIDO ‘N FLUFFY – FREE SHIPPING

…on all orders $50 and over.

Inspired by Amazon, you’re gonna get good deals from Fido ‘n Fluffy via the standard low prices, and free shipping- icing on the cake!

According to what Rick Broida tells us in CNET.com, ‘“With Prime, users get “two-day shipping on virtually anything …Amazon Prime is a “kind of an oddball assemblage of services,” but for the regular online shoppers, even “the shipping alone feels like a huge win.’”

Fido ‘n Fluffy has Free Shipping, too, but sans the ‘virtually anything’ part, because we confine our products exclusively to cats and dogs.

We can boast, though, of the ‘huge win’ part: customers don’t have hidden fees, i.e. we won’t pad the price of the product to make it look like Free Shipping when in effect you still pay shipping charges via the padded prices. (We don’t think Amazon does, either. Otherwise it is standard practice.)

Preposterous? Not. Fido ‘n Fluffy may be silly enough to pay for the shipping so that shoppers can have a pleasant experience browsing Fido ‘n Fluffy’s site. (What a turn-off when the shipping costs more than the product!)

Not to fear- this won’t make Amazon feel guilty or insecure, and if Fido ‘n Fluffy can make a dollar or two (they don’t eat much), they’ll still be on the plus side of the equation. We think that Stephen Covey will agree that Fido ‘n Fluffy’s ‘Free Shipping’ maneuver is a win/win situation. 😀

PET COLLARS OF DISTINCTION

‘Ivy League’ Collars

Yaaay … it’s reunion time at Barkmouth College and Yelp University! Or not.

Keeping a Great Paw Average is tough enough, ‘might as well have something to show for it.

Stuck up pup or not, Mirage’s ‘Ivy League’ designer dog collar will give Fido or Fluffy that air of distinction.

Why, it’s not just about brand, either. It is simplicity that gives way to elegance and sophistication.

A good example is the Purrberry concept. (Actually, I asked my cousin, a designer “How do I avoid getting on the ’10 Worst Dressed’ list?” He said that whatever you do, keep it down to three colors. It sure worked for Purrberry. 😀 )

And just like the Purrberry scarf, it will never fail to make an impressive statement. Arf, arf! Meow!
